Cyber Security Risk Assessment
Identify vulnerabilities across infrastructure, processes, and third parties. Receive a prioritised risk register and a practical remediation roadmap.
Your business faces threats from every direction — cyber attacks, regulatory fines, and reputational damage. We deliver end-to-end risk management and compliance consulting to keep you protected, audit-ready, and aligned with UAE and international frameworks.
Cyber incidents are rising as UAE regulators expand their compliance mandates. Financial services, healthcare, real estate, government, and retail organisations face growing exposure — and the cost of non-compliance extends well beyond a fine.
Obligations now span the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, NESA/SIA standards, DIFC and ADGM data protection rules, PCI DSS, ADHICS, GDPR, and sector-specific requirements.
NR Doshi & Partners has supported UAE businesses since 1985. We bring the same rigour used in financial audits and tax advisory to cyber security risk and compliance.

Not every framework applies to every business, but several are mandatory. The UAE PDPL applies to organisations processing personal data; NESA/SIA applies to critical national services; PCI DSS applies to payment card data; and Abu Dhabi healthcare entities must comply with ADHICS. DIFC and ADGM have their own data protection regimes. We assess the exact obligations for your business and jurisdiction.
NESA was the UAE’s original national cyber security authority. The Signals Intelligence Agency now owns the Information Assurance standards framework. The core requirements for critical infrastructure remain substantively similar, so “NESA compliance” is commonly used to refer to the current SIA/IA requirements.
A mid-sized organisation starting from scratch typically needs 9–15 months. Businesses with mature IT governance or existing ISO systems may complete the journey in 6–9 months. A phased engagement can prioritise high-risk gaps while the full ISMS is developed.
Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 establishes privacy rights and obligations for entities processing personal data of individuals in the UAE. Requirements can include consent, DPIAs, records of processing, breach response, and a data protection officer where required. DIFC and ADGM operate separate regimes.
Yes. Free zone organisations may face both federal requirements and zone-specific rules. DIFC entities follow the DIFC Data Protection Law 2020; ADGM entities follow ADGM Data Protection Regulations. Both frameworks are actively enforced.
Yes. We design group-wide frameworks that create consistent standards while respecting entity-specific obligations. A group spanning DIFC, Abu Dhabi healthcare, and Dubai mainland operations can be mapped into one efficient governance structure.
Penalties vary by framework and can be substantial. UAE PDPL fines can reach AED 20 million for serious violations; DIFC violations can attract fines up to USD 100,000. PCI DSS failures can also lead to scheme fines, higher transaction fees, and lost processing privileges. Reputational harm may be even more costly.
